Born on February 12, 1973, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Tara Lyn Strong started her acting career at a young age and became a voice artist, singer, and actress.[1]

At four years old, she was already volunteering as a soloist at a school production and participated in plays in the Yiddish Thater, although she wasn't even speaking the Yiddish language.[2]

Other acting credits include A Night of Stars with the Toronto Jewish Theatre and a Hebrew and English audiotape for "Lay Down Your Arms" with the Habonim Youth Choir.

At age 13, Strong appeared in "The Music Man" at the Limelight Theater and landed a more serious role in Hello Kitty's Furry Tale Theater.

Before moving to Los Angeles in January 1994, she studied improv at The Second City in Toronto.

Tara has provided the voice for numerous beloved characters in animated shows such as "The Powerpuff Girls," "Teen Titans," "Rugrats," "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic," "Ben 10," and "The Fairly OddParents."

They lived in Los Angeles and formerly owned VoiceStarz, an online enterprise that provided voice-over career guidance. However, Tara Strong filed for divorce on July 24, 2019, and the divorce was finalized on January 5, 2022.

In 2012, Tara Strong mingled with military enthusiasts during a lunch gathering at the BronyCon in New Jersey. The following year, she joined forces with a charitable organization named Bronies for Good to raise funds for a family whose daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
