Early life

Saucy Santana, born Rashad Spain, was born and raised in Bridgeport, Connecticut, before moving to Florida when he turned 10 with his mom, Teresa Harris. His dad was a celebrity bodyguard, and growing up, Santana had the chance to meet many famous people, like Lil’ Kim and 50 Cent, at basketball games.

Not much is known about where he finished high school, or if he went to college.

In a Vogue interview, he stated that he had trouble with how people perceived him since he was openly queer from a young age. His behavior was feminine, which put a target on his back at all times.[1]

He stated that most rappers come from difficult backgrounds, living in the projects, and struggling to make ends meet; however, his life wasn’t filled with such struggles. His mother worked as a general manager, and his dad was a celebrity bodyguard. They lived on a five-acre property, in a three-story household.

When he was younger, he wanted to experience life on the streets and wanted to hang out in the projects and get into fights, so he would ultimately end up being street-smart.

When he was 17, he came out as gay. His pronouns are he/him, and he identifies as a male.
