Saucy Santana, born Rashad Spain, was born and raised in Bridgeport, Connecticut, before moving to Florida when he turned 10 with his mom, Teresa Harris. His dad was a celebrity bodyguard, and growing up, Santana had the chance to meet many famous people, like Lil’ Kim and 50 Cent, at basketball games.

Saucy Santana’s career in the music industry started off with him becoming the makeup artist for the Miami-based duo ‘City Girls’.
In February 2019, he recorded the theme song for the podcast his friends and he were making at the time.
His first single was released on SoundCloud later in 2019 - ‘Walk Em Like A Dog’. He then released his debut EP - ‘Dog Walkers’ a month later, and in January 2020, Santana released his mixtape - ‘Imma Celebrity’.
He then showed up as a recurring guest on the reality TV show - ‘Love & Hip-Hop: Miami’ from January to April 2020. Later that same year, he released his new mixtape - ‘Pretty Little Gangsta’, with features by LightSkinKeisha and Latto.
He featured on Sukihana’s single ‘Food Stamp Hoe’ in 2021, and at the same time, his single ‘Walk’, initially released in 2020, started blowing up and going viral on TikTok, due to the #WalkChallenge. As a result, he received a cosign from one of the most famous female rappers - Nicki Minaj.
Two other of his singles - ‘Here We Go’ and ‘Material Girl’ went viral on TikTok in the same year, which earned him a cosign from Madonna, resulting in them performing together the song they both have with the same name - ‘Material Girl’, at the NYC Pride in 2022.
They released the mix as a single, containing segments of both songs - ‘Material Gworlllllllll!’
He released his debut studio album ‘Keep It Playa’ in December 2021, and a collaboration with the duo ‘City Girls’, the two girls he started his career with.
In 2022, Saucy Santana was a guest on ‘The Tonight Show’ for the first time, where he performed his new song ‘Booty’. He performed the same song at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards ‘Pre-Show’.
In 2019, Saucy Santana, was a victim of a drive-by shooting. He got shot in his shoulder and had to be hospitalized as a result of his injuries. In a statement, Saucy Santana claimed the shooting was evidence of homophobia, and since he got shot in the shoulder, he firmly believed they were aiming for his head. He later released the song ‘You Can’t Kill Me’.
In 2022, some Tweets of his from 2014 went viral about Blue Ivy Carter, the daughter of Beyonce and Jay-Z. Reportedly, Santana compared Blue Ivy and North West, Kanye’s daughter, and labeled Blue’s hair as ‘nappy’.
In an interview with ‘Pride’, Saucy Santana mentioned he initially came out as bisexual, because he wanted to ease people into the whole idea of him being gay.[3]Even after he came out as bi and was a bit too feminine for straight girls, many women still wanted to date him.
