Roccstar’s song “Rude” was featured in the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack, which was nominated for a Grammy for best soundtrack in 2015.

Early life and career beginnings

Youngblood was born in San Diego, California, to his father, Leon Youngblood Sr., and his mother, Ginger Youngblood. He grew up with four other siblings Sharon Keiana Youngblood, Swakee Leon Reid, Skye Marie Gray, and Tenicia Bennett.

In 2014, he worked with Chris Brown and wrote songs for his album “X” alongside Timbaland and Diplo.
