He didn’t stop there and created a mortgage company; it was pay-per-click system management and worked with search engine optimization.

Career with cryptocurrency

After those jobs, Richard got introduced to Bitcoin on the social media platform Reddit, which triggered him to create the HEX cryptocurrency[1]as his first blockchain certificate of deposit, for which he became recognized later on.

He launched HEX in 2019 as a new type of cryptocurrency that utilizes its Proof of Wait (PoWa) protocol, allowing owners to make money from their investments by stalking their tokens in the HEX smart contract.

In the following period, Richard continued believing in his philanthropic ideas and founded PulseChain[2] , a company to raise money and invest it in medical research. With PulseChain, also known as SENS medical research organization, Richard managed to raise $27 million.

His job ventures don’t stop there, as he also tried his luck as an author and wrote a book on personal improvement and development, ‘sciVive,’ which got published in 2018.

The controversy over Richard’s startup HEX

The main controversy over the HEX cryptocurrency is that many believe it is a Ponzi scheme and a scam.

Many who bought the HEX bitcoins claimed that they couldn’t return their investments which came as an immediate red flag, meaning that they lost more than 90% of their initial buy-in value.

In addition to this, Richard is believed to hold almost half of the coin’s circulating supply after the first year of the existence of HEX, which many think it’s a sign that this investment might be nothing but a scam.[3]
