Paul Rabil was born in Gaithersburg, Maryland, United States, on December 14, 1985.

Sports have interested Rabil since a young age, so he has participated in a wide range of sports, such as lacrosse, football, and swimming. His mom and dad also grew up playing various sports, so sports were a huge part of his life.

At the age of twelve, Rabil received his first lacrosse stick from his neighbor. As a beginning player, he wasn't the best and wanted to give up. However, his mom motivated him to persevere.
