Warren Edward Buffett was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on August 30, 1930. His father, Howard, worked as a Stockbroker and a member of the House of Representatives, and his mother, Leila Stahl, was a housewife. Warren was the second son and only brother of two other sisters.
Warren made his first investment at the age of 11, buying 3 shares in Cities Service at $ 38 a share.
