Professional rally driver with the Hoonigan Racing Division and racing enthusiast Ken Block was born in Long Beach, California. Very little is known about his family.

He went to Orange Glen High School and studied at Palomar College.

Before he became a world-known rally driver and successful entrepreneur, Ken Brock had a career as an architect. However, he quickly realized that he didn’t want to make a business of it. After that, he tried snowboarding and moved to Colorado to become a professional snowboarder but failed to create a professional career.
Careerwise, things got serious in 2005 when he began rallying with the Vermont SportsCar team.
In 2006, Ken signed a sponsorship deal with Subaru and was part of the completion of the first-held X-Games[1]rally event at X Games XII and was third and took the bronze medal. That same year, he competed in the Rally America National Championship and was in second place.
The following year, in 2007, Ken participated in the X Games XIII and was second in the race, winning a silver medal.
In 2008, Subaru gave him a brand-new Subaru WRX STi to compete in, and he chose to compete in the Canadian Rally Championship and took first place. This event was to prepare for the World Rally Championship, which happened in 2009.
Ken’s success was noticed everywhere, and many brands and producers in the same industry wanted to do business with him. He was featured in a segment of the British motor TV show “Top Gear,” which first premiered in 2002. In 2009, he filmed a YouTube video, “Gymkhana 2,” which became viral instantly.

Ken ended his contract with Subaru in 2010, made a new partnership with Ford, and competed part-time at the World Rally Championship[2]for Monster World Rally Team[3] . There, he drove a Ford Focus RS WRC 08 and became the first American rally driver to compete in the World Rally Championship.
In 2011, at the Rally de Portugal in Faro, Portugal, Ken, along with his co-driver Alex Gelsomino were injured and taken to the hospital after rolling their Ford Fiesta.
In the 2013 race, Ken was listed in the top ten at the Mexican rally, and in 2014, he was endorsed by Castrol, and became his sponsor. That year, Ken competed in the World Rally Championship in Catalunya, Spain.
In the years between 2011 to 2015, Ken participated in the Global RallyCross Championship, and his racing car was always a Ford Fiesta.
The American professional rally driver is most known as the Monster World Rally Team and is one of the co-founders of DC Shoes.
Apart from that, he also got much recognition after producing a series of gymkhana videos on YouTube.
Ken Block is very private and doesn’t want to share personal details about his family. He married his now-wife, Lucy Block, with whom he shares three children.

American rally driver and constant adrenaline chaser, Ken Brock, is estimated at around $250 million as of 2022. Besides his regular drifting antics, he has also accumulated a big fortune as a successful entrepreneur, and most of his wealth came from DC Shoes.
Ken Block and Ford parted ways in 2021, which was why he also parted ways with his Hoonicorn and other cars.
The story before DC Shoes begins in 1989 when Ken Block began screen printing T-shirts and teamed up with his college friend Damon Way.
