Harry Mack is an American rapper and Internet personality, most famous for his supreme skill in freestyle rap.
Mack's rise to fame was sparked by a video of him improvising verses on Venice Beach about the random strangers passing at that moment.
The video received more than 3 million views, which also skyrocketed his YouTube channel and brought him the attention of prominent rappers like Joey Badass and Kendrick Lamar.
Mack was also invited to rap on Power 106 - L.A. commercial radio station and was featured in one of the episodes of The Ellen's Show.
His net worth is estimated at $1.5 million.
Harry Mack was born in Portland, Oregon, on February 17, 1990.
Even as a child, he showed great interest and potential in music. At age five, his parents enrolled him in music classes where he learned how to follow a rhythm, and at seven, he began learning how to play the violin.[1]
His three year older sister, a hip-hop and rap music fan, influenced Harry to start practicing freestyle rapping when he was only 12 years old.
Despite already being musically literate and playing the violin, Mack desired to play the drums. As a result, his parents gave him his first drum set in the fifth grade. Originally, Mack played jazz music and even had gigs as early as 14.
Throughout high school, he and his buddies would organize parties where they would perform in front of an audience of hundreds of people.
Mack would listen to rap music and practice his freestyle and drums in his free time. In an interview for "No Jumper," he said drumming helped improve his rapping.
After graduating high school, he moved to L.A. to study Jazz at USC, and he graduated in 2012. As he had no plans for the future, he taught drum lessons to make ends meet.
After college, Mack continued his work as a jazz musician playing the drums. He mainly performed at events and bars; however, he always wanted to pursue his dream as a freestyle rapper.
So one fateful day, his buddy Jackob Mann invited him to make a freestyle on his song while driving in a car.
Mann filmed Mack rapping about random things he saw in the streets and posted the video on his YouTube channel.
The video went viral in two weeks, generating thousands of views.[2]
Harry became motivated by the success, took freestyle seriously, and created his own YouTube channel.
In the beginning, Mack would film himself rapping about random stuff in his room; however, these videos wouldn't bring him a significant view count.
Then, he went out of his comfort zone and started rapping about random stuff like bottles from the store.
However, he didn't receive traction until February 2017, when he began freestyling for strangers passing by at Venice Beach. People started taking interest and filmed him with their phones, so he went viral again and received over 3 million views on YouTube.[3]
It wasn't long after when Harry got invited on Power 106 Los Angeles to rap for Joy Badass.
Joy threw random words, and Mack freestyled for more than 4 minutes without a break.
Later, he was invited to do the same thing for Kendrick Lamar.
This made Harry even more popular since he was broadcasted on one of the most famous radio stations in L.A. and showed his skills in front of already-established rappers.[4]
In 2017 the same year he was a guest on Power 106, he got invited to “The Ellen's Show”, where he showed his incredible talent in front of a live audience. He also completed Ellen's challenge of her showing random pictures and Mack putting them into a cohesive and fun freestyle.[5]

One of his most notable videos is his 1 million special named "Harry Mack Freestyles FOR 10 HOURS to Celebrate 1,000,000 Subscribers," where he raps for ten hours straight with the words given by the viewers in the chat.[6]
His Youtube channel managed to generate more than 3 million views by 2022.
Mack also has one debut album, "Contents under pressure," featuring nine songs available on Spotify.
He also got a few notable sponsorships from Mitsubishi and Red Bull.[7]
