Evan Peters is an American actor and model with a net worth of $4 million. He is most famous and recognizable for his broad palette of roles in the "American Horror Story" popular series.

Before playing every monster or psychopath in the FX TV series, Evan worked as a model, modeling for commercials for "Sour Patch Kids" and "Papa John" before he got his role.

Quickly after his modeling gigs, Peters emerged into the acting world, where he would eventually gain fame and be nominated for various awards.

Life Before Fame

Evan Peters was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on January 20, 1978, to parents Phill Peters and Julie Peters. He has two siblings, a half-sister named Michelle and a brother named Andrew.

Growing up, Peters lived in the Ballwin suburbs, where he was raised as a Catholic and attended Catholic school.

After middle school, Evan Peters and his family moved to Michigan, where he visited Grand Blanc Community High School and started his acting journey.

At 15, Evan and his mother relocated to Los Angeles, hoping to get recognized in the entertainment industry.

Early Career

Evan Peters didn't waste any time after moving to California to pursue his dream and started auditioning immediately for commercials and tv roles.

He has an extensive portfolio of roles, like appearing in a commercial for "PlayStation Progressive Insurance," "Papa John's Pizza," a Disney Channel series called "Phil Of The Future"[1] , and a teen drama series "One Tree Hill."

But, his most significant breakthrough was just about to knock on the door when producer Michael Picchiottino chose him to star in the film "Clipping Adam."

This is where all the stars aligned for the young Evan Peters; soon after, Evan started gaining supportive roles like crazy. In 2004 he made his debut in the movie "The Sleepover" and guest-starred in many shows like "The Days," "The Office," "The Mentalist," "Monk," "Parenthood," etc.

In 2008, Evan starred in the movie "Gardens Of The Night" alongside stars John Malkovich and Jillian Jacobs.

In 2010, Peters had a recurring role as the protagonist's best friend in the superhero movie "Kick-Ass."When the writers came out with a second part of the movie, Evan Peters had broken the entertainment world with his role in the Fx series "American Horror Story."

The Genious Of Tate Langdon

This role gave Evan Peters all the glory and recognition in the industry. Everybody knows how hard it is to become a staple name in Hollywood, but this boy gave his all playing the part of the monstrous, murderous, but charismatic teenager Tate Langdon [2] .

Tate's dark backstory is chillingly based on one of the first school shootings in Columbine High School, where two students shot and killed twelve of their fellow students and one teacher and then killed themselves.

Evan Peters represents the role respectfully and morbidly by playing the ghost of Tate Langdon, who committed mass murder and died in a haunted house.

You can see the sad, twisted, and dark emotions on Peters' face when he gets into character; he has the charm to make the viewers fall in love instantly without forgetting that he is a very tortured individual behind that innocent face.

'I think what it is, is that they write him as a nice guy. He is a pleasant, sort of normal, charming guy with feelings that can get hurt easily, and he's just sort of a very human character, and he's written that way.

And then what happens is they have that guy kill people and do evil things. So that you sympathize with him and care about him and really feel for him, and then at the same time, his actions they're confusing.

They're conflicting because he's doing evil things - his wicked things... It's very well written. It's really the writing, I think.' - Evan Peters, for an interview with Live Journal.

Even then, the couple worked things out and got back together almost instantly. Peters proposed to Roberts a year later, and the couple quickly announced their engagement.
