Crip Mac has been an enigma for a while now. While we know that he was born on February 20, 1993, and raised in Los Angeles, he spent a brief amount of time with his mom and her boyfriend in Texas.
Crip Mac has never stayed in one place long enough to call home. Instead, he kept moving around, hoping to find himself somehow. But, the move to Texas didn’t last long as he returned to LA with his aunt.
After a generous amount of time he spent moving around, Crip Mac lived on 55th Street in LA, where his world changed forever. Crip Mac found himself surrounded by gang members called the Cripps.
This difficult period in American history played a part in gang culture, which can be traced back to the founding of the Crips in 1969 by Stanley Tookie Williams in South Central Los Angeles. By 1978, the Crips had expanded to 45 groups in Los Angeles alone.
Besides working as a mechanic’s assistant, Crip Mac has been meddling in the music industry for a while now. Although some may find him relatively unsuccessful for a person who’s been here a time, I would say that his career is progressing slowly.
He has released music videos such as "Western Wiggle" and "Opp Goblin," along with some local performances to build his reputation and broaden his career.
However, his audience seems more interested in watching him interact with his grandmother or play with his kitties than in his music.

Despite appearing in various YouTube videos with millions of views, he only has around 22,000 to 30,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
After being incarcerated in 2017, he decided to take rap more seriously and started writing his lyrics in prison. His first viral hit, a diss track titled "Cardi B," was recorded while he was behind bars and released on YouTube.

C-Mac initially gained fame for creating humorous videos and helping his community, but underneath his goofy and loud persona, he was dealing with quite a lot of pain.
In 2021, Crip Mac shocked his fans and viewers when he explained that he suffers from diagnosed schizophrenia, and you don’t often hear gang members talking about mental health.
He further explained that he had had this diagnosis since he was a teenager. He struggled severely throughout his teenage years, especially when he couldn’t comprehend what was happening to him.
Crip Mac even went to one of the most popular podcasts on Youtube called “No Jumper” and talked about how his paranoia makes him think that his fans are opps and trying to set him up.
This paranoia made Crip Mac walk around with a gun on the streets, in fear that someone might come up to him and start shooting. But, being fresh out of jail and on parole, Mac wasn’t supposed to carry a gun. So, in 2022 he was arrested again but released only a month later.
Crip Mac is a rapper and social media personality who is most famous for making goofy and silly videos of him, his grandmother, and his cats. He is also a gang member of the 55th Street Cripps, and he’s been in jail multiple times for being associated with them.
Crip Mac has a net worth of around $1 million.
