Career

Levine started his musical career in February 1994, together with Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden, and Ryan Dusick, when they formed their garage band Kara’s Flowers, where Adam was the lead vocal and guitarist. They first played at Whisky Go Go [1]in 1995.

Tommy Allen discovered Kara’s Flowers while they were playing at a party in Malibu [2] . They later signed a contract with Reprise Records and released “The Fourth World”, their first album, in 1997, which was unsuccessful. The same year, they appeared on a “Beverly Hills 90210” episode.

Since then, Maroon 5 has released studio 7 albums [4] , 3 live albums, 34 singles and 38 music videos. They have had 9 headlining tours and several other co-headlining tours.
